About Us

Remedial Massage Therapy

Remedial massage is designed to balance muscle/soft tissue length, tension, & tone which will in turn

promote the return to normal joint/capsular/bone position; increase the flow of blood and lymph,

particularly in the injured areas, thus removing blockages, damaged cells, scar tissue and adhesions

resulting from injury

Our Remedial Massage Therapists put your needs first so you feel better as soon as possible.

Therapists Who Care

We are sport based therapists but we are able to assist all clients young and old who maybe requiring help to reduce pain and increase their range of motion, or are returning from serious injury or surgery.  We work closely with local physiotherapist and are able to arrange a referral to other specialists if required.

Experienced Local Knowledge

We are community minded therapists and as such are committed  to local AFL Mens/Womens Football and Netball competitions. Our experienced massage therapists can assess your needs so you get the perfect treatment you require to help  get you back to your best.

We can further assist our clients using our kinesiology and rigid taping skills to assist with support and recovery of sporting or other injuries you may have sustained.

Other Services Available

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

The lymphatic system is the frontline in our bodies’ ability to fight disease and infection by localising

foreign bodies. It is also involved in detoxifying our body (like our own inbuilt waste disposal unit)

transporting toxins, bacteria, excess fluid and metabolic waste out of our bodies as well as producing other

immuno-competent cells (primarily T and B cells) which are involved in fighting infection. T cells and B cells

belong to a group of white blood cells known as lymphocytes and play a central role in our immunity.

Daily stress, fatigue, emotional shock, chemical overloading, infection, pollution, food preservatives and many

other things can greatly impair the functioning of healthy tissues and healthy lymphatic pathways.

If the lymphatic system stopped moving the excess fluid and leaked proteins back into the circulatory system,

the body would develop severe edema and death would result in 24 to 48 hours.

Other benefits:

MLD can be performed with acute injury, This is very helpful for assisting athletes to recover more quickly.

Deep Tissue/ Sports Massage

Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes.

Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries.

We can offer CUPPING as  an added tool to assist your healing.  The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines & rheumatism

Relax/Swedish Masssage

The goal of Relax/ Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. This form of Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.

 Dry Needling (Acupuncture) Now Available

Dry Needling is a treatment technique whereby a sterile, single-use, fine filament needle (acupuncture needle) is inserted into the muscle to assist with decreasing pain and improving function through the release of myofascial trigger points (knots in the muscle).
